Blue Quest is equipped with a range of remote-controlled inspection tools, including advanced drones. These drones are specifically designed to inspect windmill columns and blades for any signs of damage. Controlled remotely from a dedicated control room on the vessel, they provide high-resolution imagery and data, ensuring thorough and precise inspections.
Underwater Excellence
For inspections of moorings, scour protection, underwater foundations, monopiles, and more, Blue Quest is outfitted with Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). These ROVs are capable of detailed underwater inspections, providing real-time data and visuals to assess the condition and integrity of submerged structures.
Autonomous Efficiency
The vessel also features a davit-launched Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV). This USV can autonomously inspect and map inter-array and export cables while the main vessel focuses on turbine inspections. The autonomous operations of the USV ensure a comprehensive inspection process without disrupting other activities on the vessel.
